The warnings on your site about the upright lie were not necessary as the R7s are similar to my 360s. The R7s look good, are very easy to hit and , at the moment, I feel confident that the 4 iron will be used (I haven't used one for some time) . The conditon of the clubs is excellent, exactly as described. I am very pleased indeed with my purchase.

A nice blend of looks and performance makes this a very playable iron set for a wide range of abilities. Look out for the upright standard lie (+ 2 degrees v Mizuno standard) and the strong leading edge grind (which can make tight lies tricky).

TaylorMade r7 Steel Irons. New for Taylor Made's 2007 range, the r7 Steels are the perfect set for the skilled player looking for irons that are easy to launch high and straight but still offer good workability. The TaylorMade r7 steels have an exceptionally deep cavity design which creates a lower and deeper centre of gravity making it easier to launch the ball high for the perfect balance of carry and control. A moderate offset encourages a square face at impact. There is a soft aluminium dampening web in the cavity which soaks up those harsh vibrations and delivers a soft and solid feel to the club. Inverted Cone Technology provides maximum COR and increases ball speed even for off-centre shots. Fitted with TaylorMade T-Step 90 gram shafts with a .370 tip size.
