I know reach our par 5`s in two. thanks to the callaway x hybrid. more birdies.!!!

I replaced my 5 wood with 2 hybrid as they go the same distance. The big advantage of the hybrid for me is easier to loft out of the rough and keeps it low off the tee into the wind, which there is plenty just now. I guess seeing so many pro's at Birkdale use hybrid technlogoy made my mind up for me. It was a tough decision though I still love the callaway 5 woods (except the VFT which is toed in).

Bought my first hybrid rescue club to match my other callaway x series the other day. I have always used a 3 iron from the fairway or rough but it can some times get snagged resulting in a poor shot hence poor distance. When you stand over the ball with this club it just gives you confidence knowing that you don't have to force the club to acheive the distance your after. Great buy.

Model Info 2007

Callaway X Hybrid Woods. New for 2007. Callaway's X Series stainless steel hybrids provide the ultimate in hybrid performance with X Series styling and playability. Borrowing from Callaway's X Series drivers and fairway woods, the X Hybrids incorporate a Modified X-Sole design, cutting through any thick rough while sliding smoothly over tight fairways. The X-Sole design also lowers the leading edge to help get the ball airborne quickly and easily. Increased perimeter weighting and an optimized centre of gravity raise the Moment of Inertia (MOI) for greater stability on off-centre hits resulting in straighter shots while also optimizing ball flight. VFT (Variable Face Thickness) Technology maximizes ball speed and perimeter weighting for more distance and forgiveness. S2H2 technology increases discretionary weight by removing it from the hosel and repositioning it in the perimeter of the clubhead. Much more forgiving and easier to hit than traditional long iron, the 18 degree replaces 2 iron, 21 replaces 3 iron, 24 replaces 4 iron, 27 replaces 5 iron
