been looking to update my old classic fairway metal callaways warbird,so purchasing this club was progression from an old bag favourite.gives me 30yards extra with a stronger ball flight and good value for money.

Model Info 2005

Callaway Great Big Bertha II Fairway. The heritage of the original Great Big Bertha - combined with the latest technology - that's the Great Big Bertha II Titanium fairway wood. Utilises Callaway's patented titanium fabrication technology to produce a clubface that has a high (COR) Coefficient of Restitution over a much larger area - allowing even off-centre hits to benefit from the 'trampoline' effect whereby the face 'gives' slightly on contact with the ball and then, in a fraction of a second, restores itself, catapulting the ball off. The mass of the Great Big Bertha II fairway wood is precisely distributed to reduce twisting on off-centre hits, and a precision weight chip lowers the centre of gravity to help get the ball airborne easily. The sole design helps sweep the ball off the fairway and power out of the rough.
