Bought these from golfbidder after reading plenty of glowing reviews. Made the mistake of going straight out and playing a round with them and hardly hit a decent shot all round. What I should have done was to get down to the practice ground and hit ball after ball allowing myself to adjust to the new set. Once I'd done that I found I gained confidence in the clubs very quickly and was soon hitting the ball well and atleast 10 yards further than my old DCIs. I would say to give these clubs a chance to impress you, you might adjust quicker than I did but once you do I think you'll be suitabley impressed with workability and effortless distance you'll gain when you hit the sweet spot (reasonably small though it might be in the blades). A sensible purchase for the mid to low handicapper.

quality hitting me 9 iron 160yards and hit me 3iron over 220yards bit way wood on offcentre hits. beginers beware as you can catch them thin due to the very low bounce on the blades especially 7 iron down.

Very efficient delivery as always, good set of irons exactly as described, great for medium handicappers.

awesome. service is fantastic, but as for the clubs, something else. i had a set of cleveland vas, and was struggling with them big time. they are so easy to hit, i was never confident with my long irons, but these ooze confidence. the blades are very easy to hit and the touch around the greens is brillant. a very happy customer here!!!

The Pro Combo give you the best of all worlds the strike and feel I would expect from the short irons (blades). Complimented with the higher softer landing of a modern club (cavity) in the long irons. Any single figure player would benifit from these irons expecially those days when we are not quite at our best. Great Club this has to be the futre of iron sets!

Service from Golfbidder was excellent, clubs where purchased though auction and recieved the following day. These clubs will suit if you struggle with the long irons as they are just so easy to hit, I had not used my 4 & 3 irons for past 2 year and had lost all confidence with handcap slipping at alarming rate, after bucket of balls on the range the 4 iron was flying high and long off the mat with stong trojectory. Short / mid irons give plenty of feedback and easy control. Cannot wait for season to start!

The bladed short irons are a surprising improvement and I have started to enjoy using long irons again. The Combo is a great idea.

these clubs are great geting my hanicap faling by the week.

Spacey H.Cap 28 (Posted 21.12.05 )

They are heavier than my previous clubs and certainly go further. I am very pleased and they look great. Unlike my previous clubs there is a gradual increase in distance between clubs. Previously the gap between my 7 iron and 8 was ridiculous, the 7 gave great distance and the the 8 was virtually a 9. All of the clubs are good to use and i am certainly not a great player. I reccomend them.

These irons are brilliant and have helped me get down from 18 to 14 in the past 3 weeks and my handicaps still falling. These irons over great disatnce from good strikes and the ablilty to work the ball around objects. They are for the better ball strikers to get the best from the 8-pw which are blades. They're a must have if you want your handicap to fall

Nike Pro Combo. This unique set combines the best of cavity back and bladed Irons. Full cavity Long Irons (3 & 4) Typically the hardest irons to hit. The low centre of gravity and high moment of inertia (resistance to twisting) make these long irons very easy to hit Muscle Cavity Mid Irons (5, 6, 7) The muscle cavity design of the Nike Pro Combo irons combine forgiving heel-toe weighting with a shot shaping weight pad to maximise versatility. Blade Short Irons (8, 9, PW). Short irons are all about feel and working the ball. Nothing accomplishes this better than a blade. The high centre of gravity prevents the ball from ballooning.
