Lots of spin and lots of feel. Ive tried various wedges over the years but these are the best by far

wilkorock H.Cap 2 (Posted 09.03.07 )

Great wedge , looks good and feels solid with contact , good control on the greens but then again it's difficult to tell on the english courses at this time of year , full marks though

Model Info 2007

Callaway X Tour Wedge (Vintage Finish). New for Callaway's 2007 line-up the X Tour wedges provide tour-proven precision for the more accomplished golfer. Forged from 1020 Carbon Steel for exceptional feel and with the duller anti-glare vintage finish preferred by most tour players The special PM (Phil Mickelson) Grind allows for maximum playability around the greens and thanks to the concave design, the leading edge of the wedge moves under the ball further before the ball bounces off the club face The "Mack Daddy" Grooves provide the ultimate in spin, trajectory and distance control. The grooves' width, depth and angle are at the limit of the USGA's regulations allowing for more debris to be whisked away from the face and for more interaction between the face and the ball resulting in improved spin. Preferred by tour players, the new improved head shape creates confidence on full shots as well as delicate feel shots around the greens
