Chez Reavie
Residence: Scottsdale, Arizona
DOB: 12/11/1981
Chez was the winner of the 2001 U.S. Public Links Championship, which earned an invitation to the 2002 Masters where he missed the cut - but this was his first big break. Before this the highlight of his career was a berth at the World Junior Golf Cup U.S. Finals.
Chez attended Arizona State University where he earned All-American honours three times. In his rookie season on the Nationwide Tour he made the cut in 17 of 22 starts to miss out on the Nationwide Tour Championship by a single place. The following season he made the cut in his first 15 starts to extend his career total to 18-for-18.
In 2007 Chez posted rounds of 68-70-65-68 to finish at 17-under 271 at the Knoxville Open, topping Kyle McCarthy by three strokes for his first career Nationwide Tour win. This all but guaranteed his place inside the top-20 and thus a PGA Tour card for the 2008 season.
His rookie season must have gone exactly to plan for Chez. In only his second start he secured a tie for 5th at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic. No other top-10’s followed until his maiden PGA Tour victory at the RBC Canadian Open in July. This earned him $900,000 and exempt status for the next few season on the PGA Tour.
However 2009 has not gone according to the plan. Chez has only made 5 cuts so far with his best finish being a tie for 12 at the season opener in Hawaii.

2008 Bob Hope Chrysler Classic |
17-20 January - Bob Hope Chrysler Classic - Bermuda Dunes, Silver Rock, Nicklaus Private at PGA West, Palmer Private at PGA West and Palm Springs, California. 27-year-old Trahan, who had won just once before, charged from 4 shots back Sunday to overtake Justin Leonard and win the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic. Trahan shot a sparkling 7-under 65 to beat Leonard by 3 strokes. The younger player said a 4-shot deficit looked imposing heading into the final round of the 5-day tournament but came through to prevail in the end. |
In Chez Reavie's bag...A stunning 65 in the final round was the cherry on the top of a great start to the 2008 season. Opening rounds of 69 and 68, and a 67 set the tone for the week. Then a round of 70 and that stunning 65 in the final round eventually gave Chez a share of 5th place. This is not our greatest hour in terms of photography but we can still see a few of Chez’s club. We can see the model information of his Titleist fairway wood - it’s a PT 906 F2. We can also see the sunlight glistening off his Titleist Z Muscle Forged irons.
