Jeev Milkha Singh Club History

Below is a selection of clubs used by Jeev Milkha Singh throughout his career

Jeev Milkha Singh Tournament History

2009 Arnold Palmer Invitational

26-29 March 2009 - Bay Hill Country Club and Lodge - This week marked the return of the Tiger Woods we all know and love. After 9 months out of action after re-constructive knew surgery - a birdie putt at the 72nd hole saw Tiger win as Bay Hill for a sixth time. Those familiar back-nine heroics and a putt that everyone knew he was going to drain saw the world number 1 come from 5 strokes back on the final day - equalling his career best comeback. This remarkable comeback must have been great to watch apart from the eyes of Sean O’Hair who Woods beat into second place.

In Jeev Milkha Singh's bag...Jeev topped and tallied his week with rounds of 71. In between these were rounds of 68 and 74. I don’t think that Jeev ever expected to steal the headlines from a returning Tiger Wood so a top-30 finish was a great result for the Indian. The unbranded headcovers do not make identifying Jeev’s clubs an easy task. According to his website he is still using the Callaway FT-3 that we snapped him with before. Under the other 2 headcover are Callaway Steelhead III fairway wood. We can see the irons that he is using - Callaway FT’s. His wedges are even more retro than his fairway woods - they are Ping Zing’s. The same Scotty Cameron putter headcover is there so we can assume that it is the same Scotty Cameron Delmar 3 that he was using when we last saw him.

2008 Wales Open

29 May - 1 June - The Welsh Open - Celtic Manor. Scott Strange completed an emphatic wire-to-wire victory at The Celtic Manor Wales Open with a sensational final round 64. Strange’s winning total of 262 was 22 under par and 4 shots better than the next best golfer, Robert Karlsson who was champion in 2006. The Australian becomes the third player to make The Celtic Manor Wales Open his maiden victory on The European Tour following in the footsteps of Steen Tinning (2000) and Simon Khan (2004). Karlsson did close to within a shot at one time with a spectacular run of 6 successive birdies around the turn. Strange was ignoring the leader boards dotted around the Twenty Ten course and seemed oblivious to the cheers ringing out from the group in front as he promptly pulled away.

In Jeev Milkha Singh's bag...A final round of 71 took the gloss off of what could have been a great week. Singh was in a tie for 3rd at the start of the round thanks primarily a 65 on the opening day. However he fell into a tie for 10th come the end of play on Sunday. Jeev had a mixed selection of clubs in his bag. His driver was a Callaway FT-3 (8.5˚). He used a Callaway X Tour (strong 3) fairway wood. His irons were Callaway FT while he used Ping Zing wedges (54˚ and 58˚). His putter was from Scotty Cameron.
