Titleist DCI 981 Irons

Titleist DCI 981 iron. The long irons have increased offset (to reduce slice) combined with a shorter hosel length and lower centre of gravity to create a high, yet boring trajectory. In the short irons, a longer hosel length and progressively reduced offset produces a lower, more manageable trajectory. Generating a higher, straighter ball flight, the Titleist DCI 981 is aimed at mid-high handicappers. Cast from heat-treated 431 stainless steel.

Let me start by saying what a fantastic service Golfbidder offer. I ordered the above clubs at 1.00 p.m. on a Wednesday and they arrived the next day before 2.00 p.m. Also I fill the rating that Golfbidder put on the clubs is very fair. Right lets get back to the clubs! I am a high handicapper and wanted to purchase some clubs that a very forgiving. My first round with the clubs knocked a fair few shots of my round and I am now on the way to bring my high handicap down to a resonable level! I would highly recommend the Titleist DCI 981 iron set to any mid to high handicapper that would like to take their game up a level.

I bought the irons so that I didn't have to keep transporting my existing set of Titleist DCI 981s between the place I work and home. Golfbidder was the ideal way of tracking down a second set. Buying a second set says it all. Good irons that look good and have great feel. A Titleist classic design.

Owned a set of 981's when I was playing off 18. Great clubs for mid-high handicappers. Heads look good, not so big that they look like garden tools and not too small that they ruin your confidence. Ahead of their time in some ways from a design point of view. I bought my set around 1999, and when you compare to many of 2005's cavity backs they look pretty good. Enough forgiveness there to help poor shots yet punish sloppy swings. All in all you cannot go wrong with these.

These clubs have dramatically improved my game, they give me extra distance and plenty of spin, i highly redcommend these to a reasonable golfer that is looking to shave some shots off of their round.
