I bought my set in all good faith from your website & paid £200. Your condition reference was, 6 grips, 7 shafts & 7 heads. I would personally give 2 grips, 7 shafts & 1 heads!
If i had seen these irons in the flesh i wouldn't have given £50 for them, as you can imagine i am very disappointed with my purchase.

Started playing golf (properly) a month ago and thought time to get some decent clubs and not remorgate the house. So far have played 4 rounds with the MX-20. What a difference so much more accuracy and forgivness usually scraping under 100 now scraping under 90. Cheers golf bidder

I have only ever dabbled at golf before now, and never been any good. My son has taken up the game and I thought I'd better get some clubs to join / encourage him.
I have previously owned a couple of cheapo starter sets and never thought them much cop and never been able to hit the ball very well.
I thought I'd give it another go and searched the forums for advice on the best beginners kit. The sensible advice seemed to be forget them and buy a second hand set from golfbidder.
The next piece of advice seemed to be buy the MX 20's. So I took a shot.
About golfbidder: The site was well laid out very upto date and easy to use. My order was simple and I was kept uptodate all the way with emails and tracking info. Excellent service.
About the clubs: The rating for their condition was fair, although I was a little dissapointed as other reviews said the clubs where under rated.
Still I wasnore than happy with clubs and having a set of £400 (paid £90) clubs in your bag gives you a spring in your step.
So I had to wait a couple of days to use them and then got them to a local range. Ready to go straight from not having a handicap to a single figure golfer my first session left me dissapointed. Whether it was the weather or the poor quality matting I don't know but things didn't happen.
A couple of days later I got out on a local field and hit some balls. What a difference. Once I got myself set I had a great session hitting the ball higher, straighter and longer than ever before. I was buzzing.
Now these clubs are not going to make you a pro golfer but what they will do is reward a good shot by turning it into a great shot. They are fairly forgiving but and a pleasure to use.
I'm glad I followed the advice and hope you do too.

I received the clubs and I was pleasantly surprised by the overall condition. Better than expected and good service.I had the opportunity to try the clubs the day after I received them. I must admit that I was a little bit sceptical about how a club could improve your game , thinking that there was a certain amount of hype and marketing. The front nine did nothing to change my opinion, although this was probably due to the fact that I hadn't played for some weeks. However once I had settled down into the back nine ,the quality soon showed ( the clubs , not mine ). The difference was quite astounding. I was not only hitting balls further but with considerably more accuracy and consistancy. The last hole was a 500 yard par five which I have never reached in three and never parred. I was on the green in three and down for a parr curtesy of a drive and two glorious four irons. This alone made the clubs worth it. Yes clubs do make a difference.

Just bought the Mizuno MX-20's.
I bought them for only about 120£. They where overall rated 6. I wasn't dissapointed about the rating. This system works...
Have been playing the irons for 3 or 4 rounds now.
They are very easy to hit - the big mistakes are very rare now....
Still haven't gotten used to the length yet! Problem about going from (MP-30) the not-so-forgiving irons to the VERY forgiving irons is that you trade in some of the feeling also...
I do however prefer the forgiveness!!! So these irons a keepers for me.....
