Ben Hogan Apex Plus. Ben Hogan Apex Plus irons are perimeter weighted for generous forgiveness, are forged with 1030 carbon steel for excellent feel and feedback, and feature a modified muscle-cavity design. These irons also have progressive face thickness to move the Centre of Gravity where it is needed - low in the long irons, higher in the short irons - for trajectory control throughout the set. As used by Jim Furyk to win the 2003 US Open.
