By removing material from the face to create the cavity and distributing it to other areas of the putter, the putter's inertia is increased. The ping has a soft feel and the ball rolled nicely off the face. Previously used a putter from the odyssey white hot range but to me the ping had more feel, and I felt I had more control over distance and accuracy. Only played 18 holes but impressed so far.
