Having got into golf last year my friend lent me his old set of Titleist 990s. Although great clubs I was finding these too difficult to hit consistently so was looking for a decent set of cavity irons. The X14s have been great so far, the ball is coming off the face really nicely and my accuracy and confidence had improved significantly. Recommend these clubs to high handicappers and fantastic service from Golfbidder. Thanks very much!

I was after a used set of X-14's in good condition for a reasonable price. Golf bidder had exactly what I was after, the site stated they were a 7, turned up the following day and could easily have been an 8/9. Very impressed, will be using Golfbidder in the future.

This was the first time I had bought from Golfbidder and I have been pleasantly surprised by the service. The clubs arrived on the stated day, packaged well and are in a better condition than I expected considering their age. For several years I have used Lynx irons which I bought new for half the price of new Callaway irons. I now realise that I should have forked out the extra and bought these Callaway clubs years ago. They are giving me more accuracy and I feel so much more confident with them, even the 4 iron goes well.

Though I had taken up golf in my younger years and played from time to time, I was getting more serious with my game. Putting in the practice, lessons working in technique etc. I needed to upgrade my irons. I needed something that was forgiving, but wouldnt just go on auto-pilot so as to make me concentrate on my game. It should also give me the ability to work the ball a bit, but not to thin as a blade that would punish me. The irons of nowadays are good but how far can you really go with the technology. I mean they say technology has improved but handicaps in general have not. Im of the opinion that its 10% technology, 90% marketing. Ive tried most of the new irons but never really truly satisfied. I would say. So I spoke to a pro at my club, told him what I was looking for and he advised among others, of the Callaway x-14. Traditional looking iron, not so thin sole, some offset and some technology (VFT). As I had tried and owned callaways in the past, they are very good irons, BUT the shaft. Those so-called uniflex aren’t the real deal. Anyone that has played them will tell you they are o.k. but a modified shaft would work better. Remember the shaft is the engine. I knew my swing needed a slightly stiff shaft and I liked Rifles 5.5 ,but how would I get that in a set? Low and behold, ONLY ON GOLFBIDDER. I saw a set of x-14 3-PW with Rifle 5.5! Price was GBP 140, what! Bought them and within 2 days they were delivered ( I live in Holland). They were rated a 6, but I would have rated them much much higher. One word WOW! I couldn’t believe it how this club and shaft fit me perfectly. They also look beautiful in the bag. Took them out to play and hit more GIR than I ever hit. I was hitting the 3 iron a solid 200yds/180mtrs, with nice trajectory! I have never even dared to hit a 3 iron. These clubs are not leaving my bag.
As for GB, they have a client for life. I order 3 sets before finally settling with these. GB stands behind their product and service. Buy, try don’t like it just send it back, no issues. Thanks GB and keep up the good work!
