Callaway FT-I Brid irons. New for 2008 season Callaway Golf have entered the hybrid iron game improvement market with a bang with their new Callaway FT i-Brids.
The FT i-brid irons are a new Fully Integrated Set Design that smoothly transitions from super game-improvement mid and short irons to the new i-brid design - clubs that blend the control and accuracy of traditional irons with the forgiveness, distance and versatility of hybrids. The lightweight titanium body, TPU SenSert and heavy Tunite alloy combine to create the most forgiving and playable clubs that Callaway have ever made.
The new set is bursting with technology and features 'normal' irons in the 6 to 9 iron range before special hybrid irons take over between 5 and 3.
The lightweight titanium body allows for an oversize golf club head with increased offset for greater forgiveness and an increased effective hitting area.
Combined with Heavy Tunite weighting in the sole, concentrated towards the heel and toe, plus TPU SenSert in the back of the head the Callway FT i-Brids help get the ball airborne quickly, have a higher MOI and better stability, and an incredibly solid feel.
