The design of the Ping Rapture V2 hybrid rescue club is a result of Ping's focus on multi-metal technology that has combined the key properties of the materials for optimal performance. SCIENCE ALERT...The Ping Rapture V2 hybrid is built in steel with a tungsten alloy sole delivering an optimal centre of gravity for a higher launch angle, which together with the relief of the sole ensures enhanced playability. Put simply, the tungsten sole positions the weight in the lower areas of the club to help you get the ball up in the air. The Ping Rapture V2 also has a longer face profile that has expanded the hitting area to provide greater forgiveness for all levels of player.

But while the theory all seems mighty impressive, where it counts…the ball flies off the clubface great and the launch angle is on the high side, ideal for getting the ball out of the rough.
