Admittedly I haven't had new clubs for 26 years so am not familiar with modern irons but the MP-62 is a thing of beauty! The strike is solid but feels soft off the face and the ball fizzes away with masses if spin. The view looking down at the club at address inspires confidence as does the lack of inserts, pockets, wide-soles and all those gizmos that clutter up a clubhead. It is a beautifully designed club.

Dont be put off by clams that these are for very low handicap golfers, bought a new set with R300 reg shafts.they are fantastic very long and VERY forgiving,in my opinion as forgiving as any cavity back, only drawback you have to look after them more than the cavity backs, [i.e.iron covers],try them you`ll be amazed how easy they are to use,TOP CLASS CLUB
