The low and deep centre of gravity and premium materials used to make these hybrids translate into increased energy transfer to the ball, a higher launch angle, easier to square clubhead and enhanced stability for high, long and accurate shots. Lightweight carbon crown, low-slung Slingback and thick sole design drive 70% of the clubhead mass below the equator of a golf ball. Thinner, stronger, faster, plasma welded Carpenter Custom 455 stainless steel faceplate. Thick Slingback bar doubles the rearward mass compared to a standard fairway wood. The lightweight soft-tip shaft designed specifically for Slingshot Hybrids promotes a higher ball flight. The Nike Slingshot Hybrid comes in the following loft options and replace standard clubs as follows: 17 degrees (2 iron), 20 degrees (3 iron), 23 degrees (4 iron), 26 degrees (5 iron).
