Wilson Dd6 Driver

Wilson Dd6 Driver. Wilson's most forgiving driver just got friendlier. The ETF (energy Transfer Frame) captures energy and focuses it toward the face, doubling the size of the Maximum COR Hot Zone. Underneath, rear-positioned L-Pods deliver a higher launch angle. This technology is complemented by a confidence-inspiring 460cc head, making the all new Dd6 perfect for the player seeking maximum distance with forgiveness. ETF TECHNOLOGY: The recent increase in club head size has meant that manufacturers have had to use lighter and thinner materials. Typically club faces are around 3mm thick, with some areas of the crown and sole being less than 1mm in thickness. When you consider that as Padraig Harrington hits the ball it accelerates from 0 to 175 mph in less than half a millisecond, generating a compressive force of over 2,000 pounds it is amazing that the club head is able to withstand these forces. However, due to the thinness of the head construction it can lack the stiffness to maximise the energy generated at the point of impact, which can result in lost distance. To overcome this Wilson have developed ETF technology. This exclusive technology creates a line of resistance just behind the club face, directing energy back towards the ball. This maximises the energy transfer at the point of impact and doubles the size of the sweet spot, or Hot Zone, creating a longer, more forgiving driver.

i have been playing golf for two years now and have never been a good driver max distance was about 200yrds and my aim wasn't much better! Until i got the Dd6 its added a good 20 to 30 yards and in the right directions! i would highly recommended this club, my playing partners have used the Dd6 down the range and all are in agreement this is an excellent club. My handicap is coming down because it is much easy playing your 2nd shot from the fairway!

Having been a bit of a golfing Luddite and eschewing the modern 'faddist' woods in favour of my Wilson Blue Ridge Ben Sayers No2 wood (real wood that is!), my son who recently took up the game persuaded me to invest in modernity in the shape of this Dd6 Driver. I need say no more than I used it the day after receipt in a 36-hole stableford competition, winning the morning Div. 2 round and runner up in the afternoon (after count-back). Amazing distance and accuracy - and so easy to use. I am converted! Great club.

Having just purchasing this club I was eager to try it out. Playing in a golf club match in rather wet conditions, I found that the Wilson Dd6 was excellent, good grip and feel to the club, Tee shots both brilliant and true, being not a good golfer in terms of low handicap at least it gives me the confedence to try to perform better

Having used this driver for only 3 weeks I am amazed at the improvement inmy drives, longer and straighter. I would recommend this driver to any wishing to improve their driving accuracy.

I'm fairly new to golf have an average swing and have just bought the Dd6. This is a great club very consistant, added distance to my driving and very easy to control. Driver has an excellent shaft as standard, the head is large, but feels light and managable (I found other oversized drivers very cumbersom). Give it ago

"I have never had the slightest problem dealing with Golfbidder. Even in the early days Golfbidder provided the essential two-way communication with customers which was always accurate."
