Sonartec SS 3.5 (Deep Face) Fairway

Sonartec SS 3.5 (Deep Face) Fairway Wood. The Sonartec SS3.5 will appeal to low handicap golfers and professionals alike due to its deeper face, producing an exceptionally penetrating ball flight, with the advantage of superb control and workability. "We expect the SS-3.5 will prove to be very popular among Tour professionals," said PGA Tour Representative Thane Fisher. The club features the new ST-385 ‘Hot Face’ alloy which increases ball velocity at impact, adding 10 to 15 yards for Tour-level players. The perimeter weighting system has also been further improved to tighten the dispersion rate and make it even easier to get the ball airborne. Driving Cavity on the sole allows for greater distance and control and a better balance weight distribution across the face of the club, resulting in more stability on heel/toe miss-hits and a wider sweet spot. Deeper Centre of Gravity (CG) creates a penetrating ball flight with no balloon effect making the ball less apt to be affected by the wind.

Best fairway wood i have hit yet. You can feel the quality, the Fuji tour platform shaft works great for me (my driver swing speed is just over 100) so this shaft comes out right in my sweet spot i have the 5 wood too both from gof bidder. i couldnt find a golf shop selling these and the pair i got fron G Bid are like new. They are long, forgiving and you can work the ball too. They have replaced two custom fit vsteels with ACCRA shafts and cost a quarter of those

This is without question the best fairway wood I've ever hit - the strike is amazingly clean and it goes a very long way. No wonder more and more tour players are using Sonartec
