Taylor Made R7 XD Irons

Taylor Made R7 XD Irons. New for 2006, the advanced design of the Taylor Made r7 XD combines TaylorMade's Tuned Performance Cartridge (TPC) with Inverted Cone Technology, resulting in a remarkable combination of distance and forgiveness. While the TPC saves weight to allow improved weight distribution for greater forgiveness, the Inverted Cone increases the size of the COR zone to deliver higher initial ball speed. The result is "constant distance" - exceptional yardage, shot after shot. Inverted Cone Technology maximizes the COR Zone, delivering the highest ball speed over a larger face area. Experience longer carry and distance on mis-hits. The 100% CNC-milled, thin 6-4 Titanium clubface promotes higher initial ball speed through increased COR and increases carry and distance. The lightweight titanium face saves weight to reposition CG low and deep for higher launches and longer ball flight. The Tuned Performance Cartridge saves weight, which is redistributed to the perimeter of the clubhead to increase forgiveness on off-centere hits while the T-Step steel shaft promotes maximum swing speed for maximum distance.

These clubs are simply great. They are understated in their appearance which appeals to me. However don't let the looks fool you into thinking the performance will be understated. These clubs are what I have been looking for since taking up the game 5 years ago. They definately hit the ball two clubs further than anything else I have tried including Callaway and Ping. If you are looking for a long and forgiving club then the XD's are for you. These are extremely special irons. Thanks Golfbidder for an excellent deal.

first time i used these clubs i noticed the extra distance they gave me, they do exactly as it says on the tin!

I have only used these irons once at the range and once on the course, they already feel like my new best friend, i have moved from mizuno TP9's after many delightful years. These irons certainly show how much technology has advanced, with a sweet spot that appears unmissable, i am yet to hit a bad shot. Thanks Golfbidder for the excellent service.

These clubs are really good! You will get a genuine extra 15 yards per club, easy!! I used to hit 7 iron for 150 yards but with these clubs i only need a 9 iron, max!! Even the longer irons are quite easy to hit, with 200 yards plus with a 4 iron. Very forgiving on bad shots as well. These would suit mid handicappers looking for extra length or older players struggling with their older clubs. they will give you extra length.

i tried these clubs out at my local driving range and i couldnt use them and forgot about them, then i played a round with one of my friends who had a set and tried them out on the course, and all i can say is SUPERB!!!!these irons are really long and very forgiving, and these are the first set of cavity backs ive had where you can really work the ball also!i think these would be suited to low end to about an 18 handicapper as if you do hit a REALLY bad shot itll go wrong and very long so you can say goodbye to your golf balls!but that is the extremely bad shots.awsome iron from the r7 range!!!!
