Wilson Fi5 Irons

Wilson Fi5 Forged irons. To reward the play of advanced shot makers, the weighting of the Wilson Fi5 progressively moves the centre of gravity from lower in the long irons to higher in the short irons. This is accomplished by concentrating weighting in the sole of the long irons, perimeter cavity back weighting in the mid irons, and pure muscleback weighting in the short irons. The Fi5 series is designed in the time-honored tradition of forged clubs, with thin top-lines and sole widths. 8620 mild carbon steel is used for maximum feedback at impact.

Bought these clubs off GB two months ago. The look and feel is great! struggled with them initially but took me a month to get a hang of the clubs. Feel heavy on the hands at first but are great once you get used to them. Good workability with the long irons and soft feel with the short irons. Get much more control & spin on the ball as compared to my taylor-made irons. Very happy with the purchase.

well... these irons look very good, in fact they look as good as the cleveland cg1's. but i struggled with these irons! i got a set for a good price 4 months ago but have never really felt confident hitting them. i admit it is me but i never realised how poor my swing was until i played these, i played X12's and felt really confident with them in the bag. i am going to give these clubs another few months and see if i improve with them, but i would only recommend these to good ball strikes who really strike through the ball, i have very poor distance with these irons (lost 15 yards). however this is my opinion, and if you got these on your side i dont think you could have a better set of irons in the bag! good luck

Customer Feedback

"Everything seemed fine with me, finding left-handed clubs can be a nightmare, lets hope the club fires the ball straight down the fairway. Time will tell!!"
