Ping S59 Tour Irons

Ping S59 Tour irons. As used by numerous Ping staff players including Miguel Jiminez who won an amazing four times on the European tour in 2004 using Ping S59s. Geared towards lower handicappers, the Ping S59 irons are the closest thing to a pure blade that Ping have ever made. The S59 irons combine tradition and technology to provide a high-performing blade in your choice of two finishes. This S59 Tour model has a brushed/polished finish with a ferrule for a classic look, while the standard S59 model has a blasted/brushed finish and no ferrule. Both feature a bar across the cavity which produces a solid feel and distance control. The centre of gravity, which is closer to the face, creates a penetrating trajectory. A thin top line and cambered sole ensure confidence and easy alignment, and the small cavity adds forgiveness on mishits.

really pleased with these clubs, have had them for about a month now and am hoping to get down to single figures this season - early signs are good , shot a scratch 72(winter course) a couple of weeks ago, the S59 give a nice feel on clean hits, but you can tell when you don't connect properly. Thats no bad thing, and probably makes me concentrate more. First time i'd used Golfbidder and the service and delivery was excellent

Excellent delivery and service from Golfbidder. I might put the 3 & 4 irons 'on hold' as my current i5's are more consistent. The shorter irons, especially, give very good control but require patience to get used to them. When struck solidly, they do 'do the business'. The clubs were received in a better than expected condition.

I have never used blades before and after 3 rounds have finally found out how to use them. i understand why they say lower handicappers should use them but, its all down to practice and swinging harder and more accurate any one can use them. i got backspin on a 7 iron on a 180 yard par 3 which i have never done before!!! loving them at the moment. but your bad shots are embarrasing!
