Taylor Made RAC LT2 Irons

Taylor Made RAC LT II irons. RAC stands for Relative Amplitude Coefficient, a technology TaylorMade developed to improve shot-making and characterised by 'Feel Pockets' in the back of the club head. The Tuned Performance Cartridge Delivers a high moment of inertia which helps preventing twisting of the head on off-centre hits and stability across the entire clubface. The RAC LTs - LT stands for 'Low Trajectory' - feature a slight offset and are designed to promote a more penetrating ball flight. A blade-like appearance at address - but with all the forgiving qualities of a cavity back iron. This updated Taylor Made RAC LT II version incorporates improved RAC technology and a new Tuned Performance Cartridge to deliver extraordinary feel. The redesigned and repositioned Tuned Performance Cartridge saves 16 grams, which is relocated to enhance MOI and CG position and soften impact vibration.

I started playin with these irons 2 weeks ago and as a 16year old 21 handicapper I wanted it to go automatically well, and I was very supprised because at my friends golf party I shot a 82 +11 over par and won nearest to the pin on the 115 yard par 3 16th I put it to 3 foot with a P wedge. These irons I have allready recommended to many of my friends. My standard of play has incresed drastically and I can see a low teen handicap just around the corner. Brilliant irons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HAVING RECENTLY PURCHACED A SET OF RAC LT2 IRONS I CAN HONESTLY SAY THEY REALLY ARE BETTER THAN I COULD HAVE HOPED FOR. THEY LOOK LIKE BLADES,BUT CAVITY BACK FORGIVENESS MAKES THEM A DELIGHT TO PLAY WITH. MY SECOND ROUND OF PLAYING WITH THEM I SHOT AN 84{OFF 17} IF I HAD PUTTED WELL IT COULD HAVE BEEN EVEN BETTER. AS FOR THEIR CONDITION THEY WERE RATED 6 I WOULD SAY MORE LIKE 8. ALL IN ALL THE BEST £220 I HAVE SPENT IN A LONG TIME

The reason for my recent purchase was so that I have two sets of Clubs identical, I work away from home and had been using differant club types. This was very unsatisfactory and has reduced my H'cap by at least two strokes. Once I decided to try to purchase an identical set to those used at home I saw the RAC LT2 on your list last week and purchsed them. Similar to my prevouse purchases you rated these as excellent condition and they are, I am very pleased with my new clubs.

hi got these for my other half, and after just a few holes he was hitting dead straight shots and liking them alot. not sure about the low trajectory as he still hits the ball very high but the feel of the clubs are great he says so thats the main thing. thumbs up for these clubs, won't regret buying them, recommended.

As I now suffer from Parkinsons Desease my handicap has fallen from 5 to 16. I was playing with stiff steel shafted blade clubs and STRUGGLING. I have changed to RAC LT regular carbon shafts and what a dfference. I am now getting distance back, good penetration with good ball action. I feel a drop in Handicap coming soon. Thank you Golfbidder. Robbery from Yorkshire.

Purchased these clubs straight after christmas. Used them on the range and on the course. Hit the ball better and with more confidence. Can now shape my shots knowing exactly were they are going.Recommend these clubs to anyone.

Having played with MP32's for a couple of years I decided to change to something more forgiving. I tried various irons which were descibed as player irons and found these to be the most responsive in all areas. You can shape them, get lots of spin to stop the shots quickly, and if you dont get it out the sweet spot they still go fairly straight without sacrificing loads of distance. They look great at set up and inspire confidence. The long irons are also easy to hit. These are without doubt exceptional clubs.

Very good set of irons , look good at set-up , very forgiving considering the size of the clubhead. Much better feel than my previous irons. Would recommend these clubs to anyone. Described as 8/10 by Golfbidder , they look brand new. Thank you Golfbidder

Great clubs and really forgiving. Looked and used Big Bertha's, X-18s, Ping G5s and RAC OS. These were the best and got a great price on golf bidder.

After trying a lot of different clubs, I recently perchased a set of Taylor Made LT2's. It has taken a few weeks to get used to them, but now that I have, what a club! I changed from Callaway X16's as I really didn't like looking down on that big fat top line. The Lt's are not quite blade like and do have some offset, but the wieghting in the back of the head really gives you an almost forged feel. A friend asked me to discribe them to him and the only words I could think of was "knife through butter". Well worth a try if you are a game improver and thinking of having a change. I know it's sad, but they are such a great looking club that sometimes I find myself just looking at them! Golf Porn!

Demoed these at the range the other night against a few other models. Looks great at address if you are after something like a blade topline but not so intimidating. They felt great at impact and good distance, about 165-170 carry with 6 iron. I can generally put a draw or fade on a ball (not so controlled at times) and found these clubs to be fairly workable. The only negative was that I found that despite the LT (low trajectory) tag I was hitting them fairly high compared to other clubs, not good for a windy country like Ireland but this may have been down to range balls, mats or my swing. All in all a geat club for guys like me with 13 handicap who want to improve and I would not hesitate to buy them and probably will.
