Callaway Big Bertha Titanium Driver

Callaway Big Bertha Titanium. The Callaway Big Bertha Titanium features Callaway's Variable Face Thickness (VFT) Technology which allows manufacture of a very thin - yet strong - clubface - providing a large and effective sweet spot. The Big Bertha Titanium Driver was designed with the head slightly longer from heel to toe than any other Callaway golf drivers. This produces a wide, forgiving hitting area that promotes confidence at address and stability on off-centre hits. This driver has precise internal weighting by adjusting the thickness of the "ribbon" around the perimeter of the driver. This pinpoints the centre of gravity to help golfers create a distance-enhancing trajectory that maximizes both carry and roll. The driver's consistently thin, strong titanium face provides a powerful transfer of energy from club head to golf ball.

Lovely feel immediately I pick up this club. Without effort, it has added distance and accuracy

What an awesome club! Head size not too big so it doesn't look or feel like a frying pan on the end of a stick!. Smote one yesterday down a tight fairway and got 270-280 yds, straight as an arrow and with a lovely tragectory. Might have to put the old war bird up for sale and get myself some fairway woods of the same type. If you are looking for a not too big head on a titanium driver which will give you distcance with control, get one of these babies. Great service from golfbidder on delivery as usual and the club was exactly as described

After a few balls on the driving range I found this club easy to adapt to. It has added 20 to 30 yards to my drives and directionally I am much more consistent.

I've not been playing long (hence the handicap). I had some cheap woods and found them useless and gave up, using only my irons. Since I have bought this i have played one round and was extremely happy with my driving - relatively straight and good distance. This makes me feel good about my very poor golf!

I needed to duplicate my set of clubs in order to keep one set at my place abroad and the other at home. I was beginning to wonder if I could get another Callaway Big Bertha Titanium but Golfbidder came to the rescue. The grip and shaft are in excellent condition but the face is rather badly scratched, although this does not appear to affect it's performace. I shall definitely use Golfbidder again and I have to say the delivery was just as advertised - many thanks.

The club is excellant, the ball travels alot further with a much more penetrating flight. I hav added 30 yrds onto my drives with it previously using a Taylormade R580.

Having searched the internet for some time, I found that this club was for me. It's not the monster 400cc+ like some of the most recent drivers, but for me, it's smaller head is one of it's biggest selling points. Although this club won't work miricales by solving my dodgey fade, it's got a fanastic feel to it with a really solid clean contact sound. If you're sitting on the fence wondering if you should purchase, you won't get better quality for the under £90 price bracket.

As a beginner, I was anxious about getting a driver so soon. But when i tried the Big Bertha + Titanium for the first time at the driving range, I was amazed. Used it and the 18-holes the same day. I was more accurate than with my 3W, and to contact the ball was much easier. About the distance, I miss elements to compare with other drivers, but I've never been that far, and was amazed of what I was able to do. Never thought to be that comfortable with a driver that soon. Great (don't expect a miracle though, still have to hit the ball correctly).

They say distance is nothing without control, and this impressive club delivers both. It is extremely forgiving and has added 20 or 30 yards to my drives compared with the MacGregor driver I used previously, bringing short par 4s within driving range. On the down-side, the sole and shaft do seem quite susceptible to marking, which may simply be an unavoidable side-effect of manufacturing such a large but light club.
