Odyssey DFX 2-Ball Blade Putter

Odyssey DFX 2-Ball Blade Putter. Since 1990, Odyssey has revolutionized the game with new products and innovations proven to enhance putting performance. Odyssey Putters are the Number One putters on the US and European Tours - the Odyssey White Hot 2-Ball is the biggest selling putter in the history of golf. The Odyssey DFX 2-Ball features a face insert moulded from a lightweight yet soft and resilient elastomer called Stronomic which provides a soft feel a smooth roll and reduces skidding and skipping. The Odyssey DFX range offers the same accuracy as the phenomenally successful White Hot Series - but the black Stronomic face insert has a slightly firmer feel.

Having used a friends Odyssey putter for a couple of weeks I dipped into funds and treated myself. A good decision!! - Much more feel and the dreaded 3 puts are decreasing. This model has a black face, a little harder than the more up to date white face. Who knows, I might even upgrade if the handicap gets into single figures. Money well spent!!

Having had problems with both alignment and takeaway with my old blade putter I bought the Odyssey after using a friend's for a few holes. I decided on the DFX head because of its firmer face and it really does solid feedback and I'm not leaving putts short on slower greens. The 2 ball feature really does help with alignment and gives you bags of confidence. I find it also helps with my takeaway as it is easier to see if you are taking the club away in a straight line. All in all money very well spent.

Have used this putter for over 1 year and rate it very highly. It gives a truer role than the white hot if you play on average/slow greens, but recon the white hot is better for fast or links greens. The finish of this putter is not as pleasant on the eye as the white hot but overall I would say this is a better buy and would suit almost every handicap.
