The club arrived in better order than I was expecting according to the ratings, so that was a pleasant surprise. However, it soon became clear how far driver technology has progressed in the last 6 or 7 years. Whilst the club was clearly good quality it seemed 'dead' compared to even a modestly priced modern driver. There seemed to be very little spring off the club face, and it was difficult to get any height. As a result distances were poor. I suspect it was more the head than the shaft that was to blame, but compared to the Callaway FTi driver (with similar loft) that I have just bought, it is in another class. The Titleist hits on average about 40 yards less, and with much less acuracy. So, it was interesting to try an older driver, and perhaps it just needs a better player to get more out of it, but my advise to anyone with a high handicap looking for a driver is to spend a bit more and buy something up to date.

Played a lot of golf as a junior but preferred to carry a 5 or 3 wood. Recently returned to Golf and purchased the driver I had demo'd when younger but never purchased. Fantastic choice! As good as I remembered. Great strike and shaft plus fantastic weight and balance to the head. Highly recommended for any golfer!

I got this club from the golfbidder auction and was a little sceptical as this was my first purchase, i was not dissapointed club arrived next day in 1st class condition ( looked new )
The club itself is much better than my Nike ignite 460cc and easier to hit with a more consistant ball flight.Only down side no titleist head cover but that is explained before you buy, i am now looking for a 3 wood to go with my new best friend.
Exelent service from golfbidder, now all my golfing partners are surching you web site.

Very solid club. Nice muted whack at impact. Very easy to use, launches relatively high but trajectory is perfect for me in 8.5 deg. loft w/ Grafalloy ProLite stiff flex. OK, may lack a bit of "beef" compared to todays 460cc drivers, but if you like a slightly smaller head, this is definately one to consider; it's long.
