Lorena Ochoa is hoping to see an improvement in her short game at the Kraft Nabisco Championship this week.
The first women''s Major of the season gets underway today (April 2nd) at the Mission Hills course in Rancho Mirage, with Ochoa returning to California as the defending champion.
Despite her recent dominance on the LPGA Tour, the 27-year-old Mexican finished 15th at last week''s LPGA International and admitted afterwards that her putting was not up to scratch.
"I''m very happy with my driver
I just didn''t feel comfortable [on the greens]. It''s very disappointing," Ochoa said.
The world number one goes up against a predictably strong field at Mission Hills this week, with Karrie Webb, Yani Tseng and Suzann Pettersen all looking to add another Major title to their collection.
Webb triumphed by two strokes at the LPGA International in Phoenix on Sunday to end a two-year win drought on the LPGA Tour.
