Organisers of the Singapore Open have confirmed that Wilson golfer Padraig Harrington will make his debut in the tournament next month.
The three-time Major winner joins a strong field at the Sentosa Golf Club''s Serapong course, with Callaway players Phil Mickelson and Ernie Els also playing in the event, as well as Titleist''s Adam Scott.
Describing the venue as "one of Asia''s toughest courses", Sentosa''s Peter Downie welcomed Harrington''s decision to play in Singapore.
"With Padraig Harrington adding his name to the tournament and raising the bar, we are very excited to have yet another world-class player," he said.
The 37-year-old Irishman won back-to-back Majors this year, clinching the US PGA Championship at Oakland Hills in August to add to his Open victory at Royal Birkdale.
Harrington has a good record in Asia, having won the 2003 Asian Open and the Hong Kong Open in 2004.
The Singapore Open takes place from November 13th to 16th.
