TaylorMade golfer Sergio Garcia has said that his game currently lacks "commitment" after losing out in a playoff once again.
Looking to recover from the disappointment of losing the Ryder Cup, the Spaniard came close to winning the Tour Championship in Atlanta on Sunday, but was beaten at the first extra hole by Cobra''s Camilo Villegas.
Garcia was also defeated in a playoff by FedEx Cup winner Vijay Singh at the Barclays in August and narrowly lost out to Padraig Harrington at the US PGA Championship earlier that month.
Commenting on his performance at the Tour Championship, he said: "I lacked a bit of commitment.
"The freedom that I''ve been having with every part of my game, it wasn''t there early on."
During the tournament at East Lake, Garcia also spoke out against recent criticism of Europe''s beaten Ryder Cup captain Nick Faldo.
The 28-year-old described some of the media treatment of the skipper as "horrendous" and said that the responsibility for defeat at Valhalla should rest with the players.
