Simon''s Golf Club in Denmark provides the venue for Annika Sorenstam''s final European tournament this week.
The 37-year-old Swede is due to retire at the end of the season after amassing a total of 72 LPGA titles, including ten Major victories.
Sorenstam was invited to play at the 54-hole Nykredit Masters in Zealand by Solheim Cup team-mate Iben Tinning, who is one of 15 Danish players in the field.
"I''m on a kind of goodbye tour and am happy to play in some of the countries that I don''t get the chance to visit too often," the former world number one said yesterday.
"Every tournament is a goodbye for me and now I look forward to soaking up the atmosphere in Denmark."
She will be paired with Tinning and recent Italian Open champion Martina Eberl of Germany for the first two rounds.
Sorenstam has also confirmed her appearance at next month''s Suzhou Taihu Ladies Open, the first Ladies European Tour event to take place in China.
