Wilson player Padraig Harrington has admitted that he will have things other than golf on his mind at the BMW Championship in St Louis this week.
For many golfers, Bellerive Country Club will forever be associated with the events of September 11th, as they were playing there when news of the terrorist attacks first broke.
Bellerive was hosting a WGC event then and provides the venue for the third FedEx Cup playoff event this week, but Harrington has been eager to put the Missouri course in perspective.
Speaking to the Associated Press, the Irishman said: "A journalist asked me a few weeks ago to talk about the golf course.
"How can I talk about the golf course when it''s all so insignificant? Yes, it will be awkward to go back."
After missing the cut at both playoffs so far, Harrington has dropped from fourth to 44th in the FedEx Cup standings.
Cleveland golfer Vijay Singh leads by 12,225 points, following his victories at The Barclays and the Deutsche Bank Championship.
