A ten-year-old girl from Suffolk saw off adult rivals to claim a championship at her local golf club this week.
Eloise Alodus is being tipped as a top LPGA player of the future after beating over 60 players, both junior and senior, at Newton Green Golf Club near Sudbury.
The youngster currently plays off a handicap of 36 but could see it reduced by six following her victory in the Jonathan Lambert Centenary Silver Stableford competition, the Telegraph reports.
"We knew she had ability, but because she is so young you never know how it is going to go," Eloise''s mother Claire, also a keen golfer, stated.
"A lot of people have said she has got a lovely swing and good talent."
Eloise took up the sport four years ago and is now being coached at county level.
