Spanish football star Guti has spoken of his ambition to become a professional golfer once he hangs up his boots.
The Real Madrid midfielder real name Jose Maria Gutierrez Hernandez told Spanish newspaper Marca that he has been working hard to lower his handicap and would love to take up golf full-time in the future.
According to Goal.com, Guti said that he has been playing the game for about seven years and recently entered a charity tournament alongside fellow footballers Miguel Torres and Paco Pavon.
"Now I would love to dedicate myself to becoming a professional. That is one of my plans when I have finished playing football," the 31-year-old stated.
Guti has been a Real Madrid player for the duration of his career and featured in the famous Galacticos side alongside David Beckham, Zinedine Zidane and Ronaldo.
He has also played 14 times for his country, although he was not included in the Spain squad for Euro 2008.
