David Dixon secured his maiden European Tour title with victory at the Saint-Omer Open on Sunday.
The 31-year-old Englishman carded an impressive final round of 66 at the tournament in France to finish five under par - one shot ahead of overnight leader Christian Nilsson.
Dixon was four shots behind the Swede going into the final day but took the lead with a series of birdies, while Nilsson could only manage a closing 71.
The Somerset player said afterwards: "I played very well and I was very calm on the last few holes which was surprising.
"It''s going to take a while to sink in - it''s a massive win for me."
Dixon began the tournament with a 77 but followed that up with rounds of 67 and 69 to put himself in contention for Sunday''s triumphant finish. Although he eventually lost out on the title, a seven-under-par 64 from Nilsson saw him equal the course record on Saturday.
