Seon Hwa Lee won the Ginn Tribute in South Carolina yesterday after a playoff against Karrie Webb.
The final day of the LPGA event was notable for the collapse of overnight leader Sophie Gustafson, who finished joint fourth after carding a 79 to see her six-shot lead disappear.
Lee and Webb both finished 14 under par, with the South Korean claiming the title at the first extra hole when she hit par and Webb could only manage a bogey.
Commenting on her difficult final round, Gustafson said: "Nothing was working for me today."
The Swedish player added: "I then began pressing and it got worse. I ended up dropping shots instead of making birdies."
World number one Lorena Ochoa did not play at the Ginn Tribute, with the Mexican player withdrawing from the tournament last week due to a family bereavement.
