Mexican golfer Lorena Ochoa registered yet another win at the Sybase Classic in New Jersey at the weekend.
The women''s number one did not run away with victory though, as she was chased all the way by a competitive field.
Five players finished in joint-second place, including Scotland''s Catriona Matthew, who told the Herald that she was particularly pleased with her putting throughout the three rounds.
Ochoa finished ten under par, with Matthew, Morgan Pressel, Sophie Gustafson, Brittany Lang and Na Yeon Choi all one shot behind.
The champion golfer has now become the fastest player to win $12 million (£6.15 million) in prize money.
Commenting on the competitive nature of the tournament, the Mexican said: "I saw the scoreboard, and so many players were right there at eight under and nine under," she explained.
Having so many challengers made it tough to claim victory, she added.
