The Centurion Club, which is due to be completed next month, will create a "revolutionary concept" when it opens in 2009.
According to Golf Business News (GBN), the complex offers "an exciting way forward for the future of golf".
Based in Potters Crouch in Hertfordshire, the new exclusive golf facility will differ from other venues as it will ask members to pay fees based on the amount they use the club.
Roy Horton is the chairman and Scott Evans has taken up the role of managing director of the club, which is set in acres of countryside next to the main road connecting Hemel Hemstead and St Albans.
Architect Simon Gidman designed the course and his company''s official website indicates that the construction of Knole Park, Northenden and Kenilworth golf clubs are among the other projects he has been involved in.
Describing the Centurion Club further, GBN states that it is "based on the needs and budget of individual players while achieving a better return per round of golf for the operator".
