Ian Poulter is just one shot off the lead after a first round score of 68 at the Byron Nelson Championship.
The Cobra golfer finished the first day on two under par at the Dallas tournament along with eight other players, including former champion Jesper Parnevik and world number ten Adam Scott.
US player Eric Axley currently shares the lead with his compatriot Ryan Moore and Australian Matthew Goggin, who all finished on three under par.
Making his first Tour appearance since winning the Masters earlier this month, Trevor Immelman carded a nightmare first round of 78, with only three players in the field posting higher scores.
"Obviously, I''m out of gas," the Nike golfer told the Dallas Morning News, referring to the whirlwind of media appearances he has been swept up in since his triumph at Augusta.
"I felt like I was playing in another man''s body," Immelman added.
