The first-ever Stanford International Pro-Am starts on Thursday April 24th, with 46 of the top 50 LPGA players expected to play.
Florida''s Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort & Club hosts the tournament that has Sweden''s Annika Sorenstam, Norway''s Suzann Pettersen and Paula Creamer from California - among other big names - scheduled to take part.
It is the first time that there has been a professional-amateur tournament on the LPGA schedule since 2001, with 112 players from both worlds included on the player line-up.
The tournament is a 54-hole stroke-play competition. After 36 holes there will be a cut to the lowest-70 professional players, leaving them to battle it out for the $2 million (£1 million) first prize - which will be presented on Sunday April 27th.
A number of celebrities will take up the amateur positions during this unique event, including former tennis player Ivan Lendl and current tennis star James Blake. Actors and other famous faces from the world of sport are also expected to appear.
