Open champion Padraig Harrington will be able to experience the 2010 Ryder Cup course next month - two years before Europe take on America in the bi-annual golfing competition.
The Irishman will get a taste of how the greens roll when he plays in the Wales Open for the first time between May 29th and June 1st, reports the BBC.
He will be looking to win the title, currently held by South African player Richard Sterne, who beat Welshman Bradley Dredge to win the tournament.
Commenting on the course, which is situated at Celtic Manor near Newport, Harrington told the news source that he had heard "good things" about the venue.
"I hear that it should provide a great challenge, which will hopefully suit my game," said the Wilson golfer.
Harrington recently finished joint-fifth at the Augusta Masters, alongside American Phil Mickelson. He hit level par on the final day when others around him began to falter.
