Colin Montgomerie ensured his wedding celebrations went with a swing at the weekend by playing a few rounds of golf with his celebrity guests.
The Yonex golfer tied the knot with Gaynor Knowles in a lavish ceremony on the banks of Loch Lomond on Saturday and the wedding vows were preceded by a star-studded golf tournament, Scottish newspaper the Sunday Mail reports.
Supermodel Jodie Kidd and football pundit Alan Hansen were just two of the famous faces joining Monty on the course early in the morning, while bride-to-be Ms Knowles was also present on the fairways of the exclusive golf club.
Following the golf, guests were treated to a full programme of entertainment, with Monty''s daughter Olivia singing and pop band The All Stars also performing. The day concluded with an extravagant firework display.
Other guests at the £1 million event included Prince Andrew, Hugh Grant, Gavin Hastings and John Inverdale.
Montgomerie missed the Masters earlier this month after seeing his world ranking slip to 75th. The 44-year-old Scotsman later criticised the tournament''s invitation system, claiming it was based on "TV rights" rather than golfing merit.
