Ochoa ''will never play on PGA Tour''

Lorena Ochoa has said that she has no desire to compete against men on the PGA Tour, despite her current domination of the women''s game.

The world number one told a press conference ahead of the Ginn Open in Florida this week that she harbours "no intentions" to compete in a PGA Tour event, although she has received several offers.

Ochoa, who is bidding for a fourth consecutive tournament victory at Orlando''s Reunion Resort, said that she was approached to play at the Mayakoba Golf Classic in her native Mexico but declined.

"My idea was first to play on the LPGA and dominate here and just try to do my best and achieve my goals," the 26-year-old said.

"I think there are other things that I could do to improve my game or to have an experience, maybe an exhibition, but not to play on the PGA [Tour]."

With a first round score of 68, Ochoa finished four under par and one shot behind joint leaders Carin Koch and Teresa Lu on the opening day of the Ginn Open.
