A golf magazine is arranging a celebrity tournament to coincide with the US Open this summer.
Three famous figures have already been confirmed to appear at the first Golf Digest US Open Challenge at Torrey Pines in June - Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, television host Matt Lauer and singer Justin Timberlake.
A fourth player to take part in the competition will be decided by a readers'' vote on the Golf Digest website and the event will be broadcast on US network NBC Sports as part of the channel''s coverage of the Open.
Looking forward to the competition, Romo described Timberlake as "a solid player who consistently hits the ball pretty straight".
"The difficult part for this test will be length," he added.
Speaking about his own chances at Torrey Pines, the former ''N Sync star said that he would "definitely sneak down there a few times to practice" before the event.
The proper Open tournament begins at California''s Torrey Pines on June 9th. Ping golfer Angel Cabrera claimed the title last year.
