Bernhard Langer is playing some of his best golf in years after moving onto the Champions Tour, it has been claimed.
The 50-year-old Adams golfer has won twice in just ten starts since joining the senior circuit and his game has benefited from playing with some of the golf world''s more experienced professionals, according to Golftoday.co.uk.
Langer overcame reigning champion Jay Haas to claim the Toshiba Classic title at Newport Beach earlier this month and the defeated US golfer paid tribute to the two-time Masters winner.
"Bernhard is a tremendous player and a great asset to our tour," Haas said.
Commenting on how the mutual respect among the Champions Tour players has helped his game, Langer stated: "We''re all same age, we''ve known each other for a long time and we can relate to each other." Earlier in his career, Langer featured on ten European Ryder Cup teams and was also the victorious non-playing captain in 2004.
