I didn't know what to expect as I have always struggled with fairway woods, but I am pleasantly surprised at how easy and effective this club can be, good distance and loft. Very pleased with the purchase.

I haven't been keeping my tee shots in the fairway with a big driver so I reverted (again) to a cheap 3 wood. That seemed to work. Then I bought the Titleist 3 wood to make progress from there. It seems to have worked and, although the head is small, its surprisingly forgiving and its accurate and about 25 yards longer than the cheaper club. It also achieves that with a lower trajectory than the cheap 3 wood and the driver - which is great in the wind. I suspect I will gain some more run on the links course in the summer as well. I got it for about £20 in the auction. Usual good service and club condition of course.

Very hard club to use cause if you didnt catch the ball off the sweet spot it had a tendancy to go left were as no other clubs in my bag done this and they were all the same kind of shafts I had on the club. I wouldn't recommend this club for higher handicap players.

I purchased a 975F 3+ wood not long ago from GB and after some initial apprehension it crew on me, so much so that I have now bought a 5 wood as well. These clubs are great, they give you so many options between driver and irons, overlapping in many respects. Now I like my irons and I use my 3 iron to tee off for the longer par 3's, so carrying these woods leaves a gap in my wedges. But, if you can pick the ball off the fairway and put it on the green, you can afford to sacrifice a bit of your short game. I am going to fill the gap in my wedges and buy a utility club to give me options depending on where I'm playing, but these will be in my bag most of the time I'm sure.

I needed something between a driver and a 3 iron for the seventh at my local course. I read a few rewiews which suggested that this was the one for me and managed to pick one up on Golfbidder auction at a good price (well, excellent price actually). Now, I haven't tried it on the course yet, but I work on an airfield so I have plenty of space on which I can practice. Distance is good, as expected but I can't seem to stop it from drawing without severe concentration in the swing, which I feel is being detrimental to demostrating its full potenial. It feels good and I'm sure I'll get the hang of it with time, making it a useful part of my arsenal. I'll let you know how I get on, hopefully making this review useful to other novices.

I bought these from Golfbidder after buying secondhand Titleist 704 irons with the same steel shafts. They take some getting used to after graphite shafts for a long time, but perseverance will pay off. They feel the same to swing as the irons which is why I bought them. Quality clubs which demand and reward good timing and swing - just need to do more often. Very good condition cluns for reasonable price from Golfbidder and next day delivery - excellent service.

Playing at Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club in Deal I need a 3 wood that hits a penetrating ball flight. I have been really pleased with this club and have found it easy to use off the tee and the deck. In the summer it will give enough length off the tee and lessen my chances of finding the rough which will in turn keep my scores down.

This is an excellent club especially with the steel shaft. If, like me, you cant get along with the spaghetti-like qualities of graphite I recommend the steel. This club sits quite low behind the ball but gives confidence that most strikes will be sweet. I bought this to fill a gap in my bag between a recovery 2 iron and the driver, which it manages superbly. As a high handicapper I was concerned about the small face, but this club is FAR superior to my previous two 3-woods.
Top marks to golf bidder who once again. They delivered the club to my office the next day with no problems. Club is in very good condition as expected.
Thanks,
James

This a lovely club with a classically-shaped head, so I'm not surprised it was so popular on the pro circuit. It certainly gets some distance - I can keep up with the drives of others off the tee without any problem. Although it's condition was rated at 6, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the club - there were actually no marks on it!

Wow! What a difference this club has made to my approach shots. Now no par 5 is safe with this little beauty in my bag. The graffaloy shaft matches my beloved Driver's, so no more holding back from the fairway. Thanks golfbidder i thought i'd never find a match for my 975 driver.

you will enjoy this club

if i didnt have it already then i would buy it , not just the club but the shaft on this club is a dream to use, so easy and straight as a dia. honestly this is a great buy, i am waiting on a 3 wood with a lower shaft to complete my set , It will cost aprox 100.00 to get a shaft as good as this fitted . promise you will love it.

Awsome club. The club face is square at setup which makes the club very easy to aim. Very solid feel and a distinct muted whack at impact. My club is fitted with a stiff Grafalloy ProLite shaft which works very well with the club. I find it easy to hit both from tee and off the deck. Admittedly this club is not for everyone (several of my friends have a really hard time hitting this club) but if it fits your swing, go for it. Easily the best fairway wood I've hit.

Expected Titleist fairway wood to be a tad unforgiving but this 16.5 loft wood immediately hit smoothly both from the tee and off the fairway. Looking forward to arriving on long par4 greens more often now I have this club.

Borrowed my brothers 14.5 degree. This club is sweet. Much smaller than some current models but sits nice behind the ball and solid off a low tee or the deck. Im now checking out Golg Bidder for on of my own.
