Back Taylor Made Rescue 09 Hybrid Hybrid

Four stars Just what I was after...

I was after a Taylormade Rescue to bridge the gap between my 5 Iron and V Steel 7 Wood (170-180yds) but don't personally like the newer white headed models so went for the 09, looked into the various lofts and shaft length etc and decided the 25 degree 5 would be the best bet... used for first time in a 36 hole medal at the weekend and it is exactly what was required! A high trajectory (unusual for me) and just the right length I was after, plus it is dead easy to pick the ball out of the rough! My only criticism would be the TaylorMade grip, it isn't the tackiest and in the hot conditions over the weekend it was quick to become greasy... But I'll be sticking a Golf Pride grip on it like my other clubs so no big problem. The club other than that is excellent (it was brand new) and was received on time and well packaged just as my previous orders have been!

Never had a Rescue club before but have used it for 2 rounds and so easy to hit and much better than trying to hit a 3 iron. Well recommended

Four stars Brill

I was very wary that buying a new rescue it would take a while to get used to it. Not so, my first shot with the club, a second on a par 5, sailed away straight as anything with the minimum of effort. The rest of the round it was behaving perfectly. (well one bad shot on the 11th when I was overconfident and tried to force it too much). Get one if need a new rescue
