These irons are very nicely balanced with the graphite shafts. I have upgraded to these as I need a bit more consistency and forgiveness to improve my handicap and these certainly fit the bill. If you are buying a full set, consider adding a gap and lob wedge as the PW is 45 deg and SW 55 deg. The gap and lob are 50 and 60 deg respectively so will give you much more options for short game shot choice. Great irons.....cant recommend enough! Andy
