Mizuno MP Fli-Hi Hybrid Reviews

Back Mizuno MP Fli-Hi Hybrid

Four stars Mizuno MP Fli-Hi 4/24 degree stiff DG SL

yellowballs H.Cap 16 July 22, 2011

I like it. Its way easier to hit than a "normal" 4 iron and a bit longer. I use it partly as a substitute for a fairway wood because I don't keep them as straight. Works better than expected out of light rough. Its more long and straight than particularly "Hi" - which suits me fine. It does launch higher than I would get a 4 iron though. May well consider the 3 or 2 in the future. I considered one with a standard weight shaft and I'm glad I picked the SL shaft instead. Great condition. Usual impeccable serice from Golfbidder and UPS.

Having had a lot of trouble with driver and 3 wood I ordered the mizuno MP Fli-Hi,what a difference this club made, with only two visits to the range I am now hitting the a lot straighter than every before, the service from Golfbidder was first class with a ultra quick delivery.

Excellent club that arrived in astonishily good condition - looked like it had hardly if ever been hit - It fit's with my MX25 irons perfectly - not a fan of the rescue type woods this club is a winner and very easy to hit.

I am very pleased with this purchase. I purchased the 2-iron and am delighted with how it matched its description on Gb.

Four stars Fli Hi and straight

Does what it says on the can. Flies high and long. With a high COI you feel the ball is embedding into the face before catipulting great lengths. It acrries long and high and lands much softer than conventional 3 irons. Looks good, easy to hit, flies further and feels great what else do you want -enjoy.

Four stars Mizuno MP Fli-Hi 18 degree

A friend of mine has one and hits it a mile, while we played the other day, he let me have a go on a few holes. I don't hit it as far as him, but boy is it easy to hit, I never thought I could hit a 2 iron, but Mizuno changed all that, can't wait for the summer. if you are knocking your driver all over the place, try this club, its easy to keep it in the fairway and the distance is very good around 220 yards. Once I get used to it I'm sure I will hit it further. My mate hits his 260 yards. Enjoy Great club.

Four stars A budding relationship

The mp flihi 3 iron gives me far more control off the tee than my previous rescue, allowing me to keep the ball under the wind for example. Its very straight and i knocked it past a partners driver this afternoon too!!! Fits straight into my bag and is there to stay!

my baffler was long 230yds+ this club is maybe 20 yards shorter. but this club just keeps the ball in the middle of the short stuff for me. Perfect for teeing of with on tight holes. played with it in gale force conditions yesterday. It gave me the confidence to manage my ball flight from the tee according to the wind direction. saved me several shots first time out. Love it!

Four stars I've been waiting too long...

I've been playing for almost three decades. First with Ping eye 2, but now I have Mizuno MP 29's. Little neat tour blades. I recently bought the MP Fli Hi 21 degrees, and the first thing I noticed is that the ball really flies with a nice high trajectory, AND the distance is amazing. 200 metres is no exception. I've always been a good striker with the 1 iron, but this club is so forgiving. It's difficult to ruin a shot. And that's what it's all about, isn't it... Yesterday I ordered the 18 degrees FLi Hi. It is supposed to replace my 2-iron MP-29. Let's see if I can regain a single digit handicap :)

Four stars Good addition to the bag

I've never really got on with the hybrids that came with my Wilson irons. This 3-iron type club gives me the confidence to put a good swing through and really let the sphere fly! Also gives good loft on all shots. Have had a few goes down at the range, looking forward to a game next week to see what we can do together! Got mine from Golfbidder auction; a £20 bargain!

Four stars Swear Words

Bunny1965 H.Cap 9 November 10, 2008

Club description Stiff Steel 18

One of my regular playing partners has had one of these in his bag for a few months now, on the back he has put a sticker which just says "you f...ing love it"! Now I know exactly why. Off the tee as an alternative to a rescue it is more accurate and shapeable, off the deck its long with a low flight (yes I know its called fli-hi but hey ho..). Just stand up to it and put a good committed swing to the ball, look up (after youve hit it!) and smile..... Oh, and Golfbidder, you are getting boring boys, on time, as described if not better, good price....nothing to complain about at all...zzzzzzz

Four stars MP FLI HI

prntmstrp H.Cap 12 January 20, 2008

The MP Fli-Hi replaced the 4 iron in my bag as I was looking for a higher trajectory and soft landing from long approach shots. This club achieved everything I wanted but what I didn't expect was the great feel with such an easy club to use. I recommend this club to anybody who stuggles with long irons whatever their handicap.

Had the club a week, it was working so well I am using it instead of my 3, 4, 5 irons. Goes along way in the right direction very few poor shots also very good out of semi rough. Can't wait to get back out there.
