I was given a Ping Rapture 5 wood by a friend. I was so impressed that I wanted a 14 degree 3 wood. This club is awesome. Looks great, gives you plenty of confidence and performs brillianty. I have played with Callaways for years but now regret that I haven't tried Ping before. No joke - I won a club competition, first time out. Sadly, normality has returned to my game but that's my putters fault! Can't praise Ping fairway woods enough.

Bought a 14 degree Ping Rapture 3 wood in new condition to match my 9 degree Rapture driver. Had Aldila NVD-65S shaft and not Ping standard. Used this club this week and found it really long with a slight tendency for a draw which suits me well. Can use off tee and fairway no problem and is really good when a safe drive is required. Looks like a really good purchase but time will tell.
Takes a bit of getting used to !

After a few sessions on the driving range the club is beginning to perform as required. Agreed much of the problem is between my ears but as I have always been a Ping user I have found this club initially less than user friendly.

Received it in time for my Saturday Medal and was delighted to finish just outside the prizes Up till now was never in the hunt this year.
Excellent club, very forgiving and adds 30 yards to my shots

Excelent club. I purchased it to used as a driver alternative and it is great. Has a very large head for a 3 wood which makes it very forgiving. It goes just about as far as my driver. It is tough to use off the deck though.

If you struggle with large head modern drivers look no further than the rapture 3 wood as an alternative for off the tee. A strong loft (14 deg) gives a penetrating ball flight but with enough loft to cut down on slice/hook spin; it also has a deep face for added confidence off a high-ish tee and the titianium head gives excellent distance. The deep face is not so good for off the fairway but as a driver alternative is second to none

Without doubt the Ping Rapture metals are a great improvement on my old Ping TiSi metals. I am getting greater distance and more consistency with my draw. All in all, pleased with the purchase of my Ping Rapture metals.

having given up on drivers[even the magical draw ones ] i wanted a 3 wood that was straight and long off the tee ,i have found it in pings new rapture the loft is perfect and the big head looks great at address i often outdrive my mates and they thought i was using a 1 wood , so try one i dont think you will be dissapointed.
