Recently purchased a Mizuno MP001 4 wood, I used to have a MP001 3 and 5 wood in my bag but traded them in a couple of years ago. Unfortunately the newer clubs didn't suit as well as the Mizuno's. I've used the 4 wood a few times, the results so far have been promising, the moral of the story is the grass isn't always greener.

The club I ordered arrived here very well packed and after unpacking it was just what I had expected. On the driving range I was happy to find out that I had bought a great club that enabled me
to add 20 metres at least to the distance I normally hit.
A real confidence builder indeed.

Love It!

I bought a MP-001 3-wood and driver from Golfbidder a few weeks ago and from the moment I used them I loved them. Unfortunately, so did my son and they both disappeared into his bag never to be seen (by Dad) again! Thanks to the excellent, and reliable, service from this site I have been able to find top-quality replacements at a very sensible price.
The club looks good, sounds great and first impressions are that it also hits long and straight, though that last bit could be down to luck more than the club...

I recently purchased a 3, 5 and 7 steel shaft (regular) woods in the Mizuno MP-001 Fairway range, as a replacement for my graphite woods. I don't know if its physiological, or maybe a subtle change in my swing, but with these clubs my stubborn slice has disappeared. In fact, the first few times of using them, I was experiencing a new phenomenon of the hook. With a slight adjustment, I can now manufacture a draw, but mostly the balls fly straight and true. These clubs don't hit quite as far as my old clubs( a difference of < 5-10 yds or so), but I will trade that any day for consistently staying on the fairway

Only used on driving range as yet but it seems like it's going to be very useful.
Looking forward to my next game of golf.

This club is one of the best clubs in my bag, i have noproblems going for it and hit a long fairway shot to the green and i don;t care about lie. just grab and shoot - iget a good flight with deep penetration that drops of nicley at the end to kill excessive forward roll.

Having only recently taken up golf and being taught by the club professional, when he said I was ready to try using fairway woods I bought Mizuno because I was happy with the Mizuno irons I had previously bought. The performance of this wood, its trejectory , distance, its large sweet spot and its ease of use have surpassed what I had hoped to achieve

Another nice club, though it doesn't appear to sit so neatly behind the ball as the Driver and 4-wood I purchased earlier. I'm sure with a bit more practice I'll be attacking more pins on those long par 3's. Can't wait !

Both the 10.5 degree Driver and this 4-wood were very easy to use during my first round with them. I was impressed, not only with the extra 15 to 20 yds from the Driver, but also how straight and penetrating both clubs were. The 4-wood also worked like a dream off the tee when going for position. I'm very pleased to say the least !

Fairway woods and I have never quite seen eye to eye in the past - I have tended to prefer long irons. This might be due to my slightly less than average height, making the clubhead seem a long way away on the fairway!! But, seeking a bit more distance on 2nd shots, thought I would give this club a chance after trying it out a couple of times. After several weeks' experience, I can say this is working out very well, both off the tee and the fairway/rough. Off the tee, I get very good distance - easily 200+ - and nice feel. Off the fairway also v good distance and reliably straight shots. I'd recommend this club. Looks like I won't be working those long irons quite as hard anymore!

What a club. Bought the 3-wood (off eBay, sorry) but it was TOO LONG! And, it must have been faulty, as it never went straight!
But, this 5-wood (same shaft/ flex as my MP-001 driver from Golfbidder) was on the button from shot 1. It fills the gap between my 3-iron and driver, is good out of the rough and off the fairway. Can't believe I've played so long without one.
The 3-wood went back on eBay - I'll be sticking to Golfbidder now.

Switched to MP-001 metalwoods after 12 years using Taylor Made... the Mizunos may not give a lot more length off the tee but they are more forgiving, accurate and inspire confidence at address. A big thumbs up from me!

Absolutely brilliant. I’m not the best golfer in the world but I know that this is a really good club. Recommended to anyone. Added both distance and accuracy effortlessly

I have the 3-wood of the MP-001 and what an unbelievable club. I hit this consistantly 250 yards plus with a nice draw, in fact most golf courses I play at I use this instead of the driver except for those long par 5's. As the person above said you need to swing flatter, don't think about this, this will happen due to the length of the club, just swing smooth. This club is best with the GraphAlloy Blue shaft in it. If you can't get the ball airbourne with this club, you'd better work on that swing !-)

Must have

without doubt the mizuno mp001 fairway wood is one of the most effective distance killers any golfer can carry in their bag.
remembering to use a flatter swing than with your irons it takes very little effort to send your ball soaring into the distance.
they say nothing feels like a mizuno and these clubs are beautifully made with lovely balance.
i have hit some of my most rewarding and stunning shots with these clubs and totally recommend them to any serious golfer.
