Golf balls are probably the most important accessory in your bag. Why? You need to choose the ball which fit your golf game.
A beginner will want length, so needs to choose a harder ball. A better player who can already hit the ball a long way will want a softer ball they can stop on the green. Softer balls will allow for more spin to be placed upon them - this will allow a better player to also shape the softer ball from left to right or vice versa.
So how do you tell the difference between a soft ball and a hard ball? To keep it simple, a hard ball is made of two pieces when a soft ball of three or four pieces.
A golf ball is made of a core (the centre of the ball) and one or more layers (second layer and cover). Some players will use the same ball time after time; others will buy the latest on the market.
